Charlo destroys Cota in three, Harrison rematch next

Jermell Charlo KO3 Jorge Cota: Former WBC junior middleweight champion Jermell Charlo improved to 32-1 with 16 KOs with a one-punch knockout of  Mexico's Jorge Cota...sorta. After possibly losing the first two rounds and getting hit with far too much of what the awkward Mexican was throwing at him, Charlo landed a crushing right hand that sent Cota to the canvas. He would make it to his feet and beat the count. Despite a cloudy look in Cota's eyes, referee Jay Nady allowed the action to resume without asking Cota to walk in any direction, including forward. Charlo immediately landed a 1-2 that flattened Cota (28-4) badly enough that the fight was stopped without a count. Source: Fox
