Changes to Kansas show

Press Release: Marvin "Much 2 Much" Cordova (11-0 7 KO’s) was forced to pull out of his August 26, 2006 fight against Carlos Molina due to a foot injury that he sustained in training. Cordova, who was slated to fight Molina back in July as well on an ESPN2 show, expressed his disappointment over the injury. "I am deeply saddened by the injury." Cordova commented recently, "I really wanted to come out and show the world that I was one of the top prospects in the world." The injury will take at least a month to fully heal. "I’ll be back and show my fans that I am truly a world class prospect, and that this is just a minor detour in my quest for a world title, " said Cordova. Promoter Zef Ramirez was equally disappointed about the injury, but remained upbeat about the progress of his young prospect. The show will go on in Junction City, Kansas, although Billy Lyell pulled out of his bout with David Medina (11-1 7 KO’s). Medina will instead face Ohio brawler Chris Overbey (7-3 2 KO’s).
