Ruslan Chagaev W12 Matt Skelton...Ruslan Chagaev retained the WBA heavyweight title with a unanimous decision over 40 year-old Matt Skelton in Berlin, Germany. Skelton gave it his all, but the Brit came up short by scores of 117-111 (twice) and 116-111. There were no knockdwons and Skelton was penalized a point. Due to an undisclosed ailment (likely a stomach problem), Chagaev had not fought since taking Nicolay Valuev's title last April. Skelton, 21-2, will not retire. Chagaev, from Uzbekistan, is now 24-0 and continued the former Soviet Union's domination of the heavyweight division. source: bbc
