Vitali Klitschko comes into the WBC heavyweight championship bout at 35-2 with 34 KOs. He holds wins over Danny Williams and Corrie Sanders, with losses to Lennox Lewis and Chris Byrd.  WBC heavyweight champion Samuel Peter comes in at 30-1 with 23 KOs, a record that includes wins over James Toney, Jameel McCline and Oleg Maskaev. His only loss came at the hands of Vitali’s brother Wladimir. 

Former WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson (stripped/vacated) comes into the IBF light heavyweight championship bout at 26-0 with 17 KOs and holds wins over Glen Johnson, Tomasz Adamek and Eric Harding.  IBF light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver comes in at 27-4 including wins over Roy Jones Jr. and Glen Johnson but also losses to Jones,  Johnson and Bernard Hopkins.
