Bout will extend Castro's career to 19th year
Jorge Castro, who has a nearly unbelievable pro record of 127-10-3, will continue to stay busy in 2005, starting with a third match-up against Peter Venancio on January 22, 2005 in Rio Gallegos, Argentina. Castro, Boxingtalk's #14 light heavyweight, has fought professionally in every year since 1987. He held the WBA world title at 160 pounds from 1994-1995. Venancio, 40-8-1, failed in a chance to win the same belt from William Joppy in 1997. He lost twice to Castro in 2001.  source: boxeo-boxing
