Thompson Boxing returns to the Omega Products International in Corona, California Friday night with a six bout card billed as "The Ultimate Test". Prospects Adam Carrera and Juan Carlos Burgos will collide in the eight round featherweight main event.  Carrera, 19-2(8), has moved up from 122 pounds where he once held the NABF title. In Burgos, he'll be facing a young knockout artist 14-0(12) making his U.S. debut. Burgos, 19, is the nephew of former flyweight titlist Victor Burgos. Five other bouts are scheduled, including six rounders featuring 7-0 super middleweight James "Chocolate" Parison and local super featherweight Edgar Vargas.
