Mexican junior middleweight Carlos Ocampo (28-1, 18 KOs) will test himself against Venezuela's Iván  Matute (30-3, 25 KOs) over ten rounds this Saturday at the Grand Hotel Tijuana, on a Zanfer show to be broadcast by Azteca 7, the Casa del Boxeo. Ocampo comes from knocking out Abraham Juárez last January on the same stage, and seeks to extend his winning streak from six to seven since he losing a welterweight title bid to Errol Spence in June 2018. matute has not fought since a 2019 loss to Bryan Medina (now 14-2). The co-feature, also a junior middleweight contest will see Dubiel Sánchez (16-0-2, 12 KOs) in a ten rounder against Rubén “Romano” Orozco (listed at 12-2, 5 KOs). Last January, Sánchez got a difficult win against the experienced Guadalupe “Bronco” Rosales, while Orozco is coming off a December loss.
