Carlos Navarro TKOs Agapito Sanchez

Carlos Navarro has gotten his career back on track, punishing Agapito Sanchez for nearly eleven rounds until referee Richard Steele stopped their junior lightweight bout in Las Vegas on Saturday. Navarro, 26-3-1, took nearly two years off when things weren't going his way, but he has now won three straight comeback fights, stepping up the level of opposition each time. Carlos' younger brother Jose will fight for a 115-pound world title next month. Sanchez once held the WBO title at 122 pounds, but at 130, he seems to be in over his head. --Scott Shaffer
