A gash that Famoso suffered over his right eye last month while battling Juan Carlos Ramirez towards a split decision victory has sidelined the former IBF Junior Lightweight Champion from being able to enter the ring for the next couple months.  However, proving that he is a true warrior of the sport, no amount of blood loss can not keep Famoso out of the gym, for he is working towards his goal of becoming world champion once again.  Hernandez spoke with BoxingTalk’s own Darren Nichols after working out at the LA Boxing Club to give his insight on how he has greatly improved since taking on Erik Morales, who he feels will walk away victorious in the much anticipated match-up between Morales and Pacquiao, and who Famoso would like to face next once he gets his clean bill of health.  Can you say El Terrible or Pac-Man?

On Saturday, Carlos “Famoso” Hernandez, who is always up for some good fun,  finally put to rest the debate of who was the best looking fighter in the world, and who could claim to have the prettiest wife/girlfriend.  There was, of course only one correct answer since Famoso’s beautiful wife Veronica is an avid reader of BoxingTalk, and would be sure to see this footage, but he also gives second and third place honors as well.
