Carina Moreno W10 Suzannah Warner...  Carina "La Reina" Moreno (16-1, 5 KOs) defeated Suzannah Warner (7-6) to retain her WBC strawweight title. Moreno extended her winning streak to eight in a row.  The fight started of fast for the defending champion as she came out applying pressure while Warner stood her ground.  The constant pressure took its toll on Warner, a New York native, and she wore her down toward the later rounds.  Two judges scored it 100-90 while the other had it 99-91 all for Moreno.  Next on the list for Moreno will be Chantel Cordova (7-0, 3KOs) on February 23, 2008 at the same venue, the Tachi Palace in Leemore, California. source: press release
