On September 20th, two Quebec boxers will settle an old score at Montreal's Centre Pierre Charbonneau. Francis Lafrenière and Francesco Bruno Cotroni will fight each other since a well-remembered 2012 encounter in which Cotroni previaled. Since then, Lafrenière (19-7-2) has gone onto better pro success than Cotroni (12-11-1) who has lost three straight.

On September 20, public figure Hugo Girard will climb into the ring for the first time against ex-fighter and UFC official Patrick Côté in a boxing showdown to raise money for the event. This face-to-face will result in a rematch between the two athletes, since the first duel between the two Quebecers was the fight of the year on the local scene in 2012.
