Calzaghe-Kessler pushed back 3 hours

Originally scheduled to come off at 10pm local time in Cardiff Whales (5pm EST), the Joe Calzaghe-Mikkell Kessler supermiddleweight unification bout has now been pushed back 3 hours to 1am local time.  This means HBO will now broadcast the fight to the American audience at 8pm EST on November 3.  In a move that likely cost HBO a few dollars, the record number of fans expected at Millennium stadium will most likely still show up for their local hero.   With 35,000 fans attending Calzaghe-Manfredo, promoter Frank Warren expects 45,000 plus in attendance to see Joe Calzaghe, 43-0 (32 KO's), unify his WBO supermiddleweight title against the undefeated WBA and WBC supermiddleweight champion, Mikkell Kessler, 39-0 (29 KO's).   Â
