Over the weekend, Boxingtalk was informed that unbeatean WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe could face Antwun Echols on February 11 in England. Earlier today, Warren confirmed that Echols is indeed the fight he's trying to finalize. Boxingtalk.com plans to speak with Echols' promoter Arthur Pelullo in the coming hours to see if Warren's $100,000 purse offer will be enough to get it done. Hopefully for the sake of ticket buying British fight fans this bout comes to fruition and no bait and switch takes place...again.
