Sources close to the situation have informed Boxingtalk.com that barring a last minute miracle the proposed bout between IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd and Wladimir Klitschko is OFF. As Boxingtalk.com first reported Wladimir Klitschko will maintain his April 23 HBO date. Byrd would have received more than $3M to face Klitschko in Germany, but according to sources close to Byrd, lack of a proper rematch clause and differenes of opinion between Byrd and King over who should pay Bill Kozerski of Fight Night were two key points of the collapse.
