Bundrage stops Bravo

Cornelius Bundrage TKO7 Norberto Bravo... In the third place bout for The Contender, Cornelius Bundrage was quickly able to impose his size and strength on the game but overmatched Norberto Bravo. Both men came out showing nervous energy. Bundrage threw his jab often and effectively, snapping Bravo’s head back. Despite his efforts, Bravo was unable to get inside. At the end of the second round, after landing a barrage of heavy shots, Norberto Bravo was finally knocked down to one knee. In the following rounds, Bundrage continually looked to land his big shots as he peppered the increasingly frustrated Bravo with his jab. Bravo was left with a look of bewilderment, seemingly with no clue as to how to fight effectively against the stronger Bundrage. Despite losing a point in the sixth round for excessive pushing, Bundrage hurt  Bravo to the body. After repeatedly landing heavily in heated exchanges, Bundrage eventually got Bravo to the ropes in the seventh before the referee saved Bravo from further punishment. Norberto Bravo falls to 22-12-3 and Cornelius Bundrage improves to 24-2. source: The Contender on ESPN
