Buchanan headlines in Baltimore tonight!

Undefeated super middleweight prospect Henry “Sugar Poo” Buchanan (10-0, 10 KOs) takes on rugged journeyman Tyrone Glover (11-7-3, 2 KOs) in tonight’s main event at Martin’s West in Baltimore.  Headlining a local show by promoter Jake “the Snake” Smith, Buchanan looks to extend his impressive streak of ten straight knockout wins to begin his professional career.  Buchanan, of Capital Heights, Maryland, was last seen locally this past March, co-headlining a Ballroom Boxing card with Andre and Anthony Dirrell.  After dispatching their opponents with second round knock outs, the Dirrell brothers returned to ringside to heckle Buchanan during his sixth round technical knockout of Julio Jean.

On the under card, Dundalk heavyweight Mike Dietrich (5-0, 1 KO) faces Glen Williams (2-0-1, 2 KOs) of St. Petersburg, Florida.  Former Mike Tyson trainer Kevin Rooney will work the corner for Dietrich.  Baltimore’s Mike Paschall (4-0, 1 KO) will face Jacob Rodriguez (6-13, 5 KOs) of Philadelphia in super middleweight action.  Rounding out the card are lightweights Mike Ricasa (5-0, 2 KOs) of Ellicott City, Maryland versus Washington, D.C.’s Rob Boyd (1-1).

Tickets are available at the door, ranging from $40 to $100 for front row VIP.  Ringside reserve 2nd and 3rd row are $70.  Tables of 10 are available for $500, with VIP tables of 10 available for $1,000.
Fights start at 8:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30 p.m.  Martin's West, 6817 Dogwood Road  Windsor Mill, MD 21244.
