Troy Browning W10 Julio C. Garcia... After eight years off due to of a serious knee injury, Troy Browning surprised everyone with a majority decision over highly touted Julio Cesar Garcia on Friday night in Miami. The 39 year old Browning built up an early lead in the ten-round junior-middleweight bout, then held off a Garcia rally to win by scores of 96-94, 97-93 and 95-95. The time is now for Browning, 20-0-1, but Garcia is already 40-3 at age 20 and still has plenty of life to his career. Garcia, however, does need seasoning, as the Miami Herald reported that Garcia twice stood in the middle of the ring with his hands down, and allowed Browning to score to the head. source: miami herald
