Brooklyn Fighter Makes his Hometown Debut!

New York, September 1--Unbeaten junior welterweight prospect Dmitriy Salita will fight on his home turf, the Brighton Beach neighborhood of Brokklyn, New York when DiBella Entertainment and Final Forum Boxing present a card titled Home Cooking on Tuesday night, September 14.  The venue will be The Atlantic Oceana, it was announced today.



Salita, born in Odessa, Ukraine, has compiled an imposing professional ring record of 18-0, with 11 victories coming by way of knockout.  "I hope this will be the start of a great relationsip between me and the NY boxing community," said Salita.

"It is a thrill to be a part of Dmitriy's home debut because he has been looking forward to fighting before the Brighton Beach fans for a long time," said DBE president Lou DiBella.


The card will also feature two Irish heavyweight brothers, Declan Timlin (3-0) and John Timlin, who will be making his pro debut.
Two time New York Golden Gloves champion Ray Biggs and light heavyweight Jason Quick will also take part in the action-packed night of boxing.
