Broner: "I'm a rapper now"

In a video posted on social media by ESPN, former four-division champion Adrien Broner says his proce for a comeback has not been met, so he will not pursue a fight at this time. Broner said, "I aint heard from [Showtime Boxing chief] Stephen Espinoza. Me and Al [Haymon] we talk everyday but ain't nobody talking abut that ten million [the purse Broner wants for a comeback fight]. So I'll take that as, I'm still retired. So what I'm going to do is just focus on my album. I'm just a rapper. I'm a rapper now." Broner (33-4-1) has not fought since a poor performance in a loss to Manny Pacquiao in January 2019.
