Undefeated junior middleweight prospect Sechew "The Iron Horse" Powell weighed in at the lightest of his career, 153. His opponent, George Armenta initially came in at 163 and was given some time to make the contract weight of 155 pounds but could only get as low as 160. But Powell decided to move forward with the fight rather than scratch  the show. "We didn't want to disappoint our promoter Lou DiBella and more importantly our fans," said a source from Powell's management team.
