Heavyweight Shannon “Brooklyn” Briggs’ (45-4-1 with 39 KOs) bout against Chris “Special K” Koval (23-2 with 18 KOs) has been moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 25, 2006 Originally slated for January 27, an ankle injury suffered last week by Briggs forced the rescheduling. The former lineal heavyweight champion Briggs has re-emerged by reeling off ten straight knockout victories, including a sixteen-second demolition of formerly undefeated Luciano Zolyone in his last fight. If all goes according to plan, power punching heavyweight JD “The Natural” Chapman (19-0 with 17 KOs) will also appearing that night, facing fellow Arkansas native Tommy "Concrete" Connelly, (15-7 with 11 KOs), in a twelve-round showdown. Chapman must first win his February 4 fight at the Pope County Fairgrounds in Russellville, Arkansas against Marvin Hill for the Arkansas State title. Promoter CKrush Sports and manager Scott Hirsch are hard at work finalizing the details.
