Sources close to light heavyweight Paul Briggs have informed Boxingtalk.com that his upcoming battle against Tomasz Adamek for the vacant WBC belt will now take place on March 12, 2005.  Briggs-Adamek will be shown on the same card as the WBO heavyweight title fight between Lamon Brewster and Andrew Golota. The bout between Briggs (rated #5 in the Boxingtalk ratings) and Adamek (Boxingtalk #19) was originally scheduled to take place on February 19, 2005.  We will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
