Bravo Headlines In Windy City Headliner Friday Night!

Heavy handed Chicagoan Oscar Bravo, 21-2 (18KO's) headlines this Friday night at the Aragon Ballroom as Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions and Miller Lite presents "Night of Destruction", another installment of "THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING". Tickets for this event, starting at $25 are on sale now by calling 312-226-5800. A seating chart is available at the 8 Count Productions newly expanded website, www.8countproductions.com, along with a huge photo gallery, fighter bios, fight posters as well as much more information about 8 Count Productions and the
JABB Boxing Gym.

The newly remodeled Aragon Ballroom is located at 1106 W. Lawrence Ave. near the corner of Lawrence and Broadway in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood and is easily accessible, just 4 blocks west of Lake Shore Drive and just 4 miles east of the Kennedy expressway. There are three large parking lots located within a 1/2 block of the Aragon Ballroom. Additionally, the Howard Street Red Line stops just across the street. Doors will open at 7pm with the first bout at
8pm

Bravo will appear in the super middleweight ten round main event headlining a terrific six bout event of professional boxing. Speaking about the action packed show, Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions stated "We've had two great evenings of boxing at the Aragon. Our huge loyal crowds have followed us there and our committment to them is to follow through on our motto "THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING".

Said Pesoli about Bravo, "We're thrilled that Oscar's headlining our "Night of Destruction", he's a terrific boxer and great guy and we're looking forward to much success with him."

In the six round co-main event hot prospect and local favorite "Hurricane" Ivan Rodriguez, 4-0 (2KO's) takes on Texan Sadot Vazquez, 1-0-1. Rodriguez was last seen locally winning a four round war over Omar Reyes two months ago at the Aragon Ballroom, a fight which had the large crowd on their feet for most of the battle
as the two young warriors slugged it out over the course of the fight. Said Pesoli of this scheduled bout, "Ivan's a true warrior, the crowd loved his fight with Reyes on December 10th and I understand the kid from Texas is in the mold of the Leija's, Lerma's and Ayala's from that state so this should be a terrific bout."

The Brothers Gonzalez, Jorge and Jimmy will appear in separate four round battles as both former amateur standouts continue their progression in the pro ranks. Jimmy Gonzalez will be making his pro debut as he takes on Ohio native Donald Adams, 1-0, in a four round middleweight bout. Jorge Gonzalez, 1-0 will appear in a four junior middleweight bout, following up on his pro debut two months ago at the Aragon.

Said Pesoli of the brothers, "They both had terrific amateur careers and we'll see if over the next year or so if they can become contenders and good professionals. Just like some of other young guys, Donovan George, Frankie Tafoya, Francisco Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez, Ottu Holifield, and a few others, we'll put them through the process and see if they have what it takes to become a contender. Its not about building their records, its about putting them in bouts were they're evenly matched and can learn from the experience."

Local favorite Donovan "Da Bomb" George, 2-0-1 (2KO's) will appear in a four round super middleweight bout against Ed "The Spoiler" Humes of Kansas City, MO. George was last seen in a four round slug fest with Marcus Hicks at the Hawthorne Race Course earning a well deserved and hard fought draw. Humes was last seen in Chicago this past June knocking out former amateur standout Rudy Cisneros before a packed and stunned De Paul Alumni Hall. Said Pesoli of this bout, "Donovan's a good looking prospect and on paper Donovan looks to win here, but Humes dropped Rudy twice in the first round and I'm sure he'll be feeling good back here in Chicago."

One more special attraction bout will be added to this card. Said matchmaker Jerry Alfano, "I've got a nice crowd pleaser that I should have finalized tomorrow."

The updated bout sheet is a follows;
