Boxing returns to the Roxy in Boston!

Press Release: Cappiello Promotions brings professional boxing back to the Roxy in Boston on Friday, August 11, 2006.  Former Massachusetts cruiserweight champion, Tim "The Hammer” Flamos (17-2-1, 7 KOs) will square off against "Hollywood" Eric Starr (14-26-3, 4 KOs) in the main event of a seven-bout card. In the co-feature bout, local cruiserweight Chris McInerney (4-0-1, 3 KOs) takes on veteran Mike Bonislawski (18-21-2, 4 KOs). In his last fight at the Roxy, McInerny fought to a four-round draw with Anterio Vines in a four-round ESPN televised swing bout, in one of the most exciting fights ever to take place at the Roxy. Vietnamese featherweight Dat Nguyen (3-0), via Maui, Hawaii, highlights the undercard against pro-debuter Rasool Shakoor. Nguyen is a becoming a heavily touted prospect, trained by Buddy McGirt.
