The new outdoor Amphitheatre at Caesars Palace makes its world debut, recalling an era of legendary nights including, Sugar Ray Leonard vs. Thomas Hearns; Larry Holmes vs. Gerry Cooney; and Muhammad Ali vs. Larry Holmes at the famed Las Vegas resort.
Gary Shaw Productions, LLC and Caesars Palace, in association with Nemiroff, present a SHOWTIME Championship Boxing triple headliner broadcast, Saturday, October 2, featuring former WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko vs. DaVaaryl Williamson; IBF jr. middleweight champion Verno Phillips defending his world title against mandatory challenger and No. 1 contender Kassim Ouma; and Jeff Lacy, the first member of the 2000 U.S. Olympic team to fight for a world title, in a rumble against No. 1 contender Syd Vanderpool for the vacant IBF super middleweight title.
