Boxers & promoter keeping Oyebola's memory Alive

Press Release: According to British promoter Frank Maloney, two boxers managed by the late James Oyebola will join Maloney in helping to support Oyebola's family. Maloney will serve as the boxers' manager but says he will donate the manager's percentage to Oyebola's estate. The two boxers are Commonwealth light welterweight champion Ajose Olusegun and light heavyweight Tony Salem. Both were formerly managed by Oyebola, who was murdered in cold blood over a petty dispute. Maloney released the following statement, "As long as these two men’s careers continue, they have pledged that James will not be forgotten and they are both eager to win titles in honour of their former manager. I believe that this reiterates the respect that they had for James and hopefully they will achieve their and James’ dream that they become world champions and James will know that his family are being looked after." This Friday, Olusegun steps back into the ring on the undercard of the Jamie Moore fight at Wigan, England on Friday. Tickets are available at www.frankmaloney.com or by calling 0871 226 1508.
