Boxeo Telemundo closes out 2004 with December 17 show

Press release: All Star Boxing, Inc. "The New Generation", Felix "Tuto" Zabala, Jr. and Boxeo Telemundo closes the 2004 Season with its 12 show and are joining forces once again to feature Gerson Guerrero-Jair Jimenez II and Carlos Maussa-Arturo Morua Friday December 17 at the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming in Miami.  Three of the four boxers appear in the Boxingtalk world ratings.

In a rematch fight Gerson “Nene” Guerrero of Mexico will defend his regional 115-pound against Jair “Tigrillo” Jimenez of Colombia. They fought to an exciting 12 round fight last July 16 on Telemundo where in a very competitive fight Guerrero took a close decision. Jimenez ranked #22 by Boxingtalk is a former WBC Latin Champion and brings a record of 22-3-1-16 KO's and Guerrero is ranked #9 by Boxingtalk and currently holds the NABF and WBO Latin Titles, he brings a record of 28-5-21 KO's.

Also in action Carlos Maussa of Miami who will be facing Arturo Morua of Mexico in a 12 round fight for a regional junior welterweight title. Both boxers are coming off impressive wins, Maussa ranked #24 by Boxingtalk beat then OPBF Champion and contender Masakazu Satake in Japan to improve his record to 17-1-15 KO’s, Morua on the other hand recently beat contender Omar Weis to improve his record to 19-6-1-13 KO’s.
