The Matchroom vs. Queensberry 5 vs. 5 show will take place on June 1st in support of the world light heavyweight championship unification fight between Artur Beterviev and Dmitri Bivol. The 5 vs. 5 between the British promotional rivals will support the show. In a video today, the five weight classes were selected, with the match-ups to be announced at a press conference on April 15th. Queensberry's Frank Warren selected the heavyweight and middleweight divisions. Matchroom's Eddie Hearn chose the featherweight and light heavyweight categories. Saudi moneyman, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, said the fifth fight would be another heavyweight fight, but allowed Matchroom to go out and draft a boxer to join the Matchroom team for that day. The two rumored heavyweight fights on social media have been Filip Hrgovic vs. Daniel Dubois and Zhilei Zhang vs. Deontay Wilder, but there was no confirmation given on today's video relese.Alalshikh also said he was beginning to plan a big show to London's Wembley Stadium in September.
