On Friday March 3, Fox Sports Best Damn Fight Series Period makes it 2006 debut with a stellar triple-header from the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk in Hollywood, California. Kirk Johnson will open up the telecast against Javier Mora, WBA lightweight champion Juan "The Baby Bull" Diaz will defend his title against former champ Lakva Sim in the co-feature and former welterweight king Vernon Forrest will headline against the ever dangerous TBA, though Gilberto Reyes and Andre Tsurkan are under condsideration.
