Berto dominates Rivera

After dominating Cosme Rivera for every second of every round, Andre Berto got careless and was decked for the first time of his career by a perfectly place counter uppercut with ten seconds to go in the sixth frame. Berto made it to his feet as the round ended. Berto underwent a suspicious change of his right glove, which bout him an additional thirty seconds. When he finally made it off of his stool, Berto responded well in round seven and resumed his domination in rounds seven, eight and nine. Although he could have easily cruised for the final three minutes Berto chose to slug it out with Rivera in an action packed round that could have gone either way. Official scores were  97-92, 98-91, 98-91.
