Also at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, California, welterweight contender Andre Berto punished Michel Trabant for eighteen minutes until Trabant quit on his stool after round six. Berto landed a very hard double left hook to the body and head of Trabant in the waning seconds of the bout. Trabant is now 43-3-1.  He turned pro at age 16 in Germany but had never been stopped before.
