Berchelt continues on comeback trail

On July 27th, in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala, former WBC super featherweight champion Miguel ‘Alacran’ Berchelt, will continue rebuilding his career in the lightweight division. Berchelt lost back-to-back fights in 2021 and 2022 to Oscar Valdez (in which Berchelt lost his title) and Jeremiah Nakathila. Berchelt (39-3) returned with a win in 2023 vs. Diego Ruiz. Next week, Berchelt will face Jeremy Triana. From Colombia, Traina is 15-5-3 and is coming off a low-level draw.
