Batyrgaziev to battle Carroll for WBA trinket at 130 pounds

The next IBA Champions’ Night, in Serpukhov, Russia on July 12th, will feature a WBA interim super featherweight title, as Russian Olympic champion and undefeated Albert Batyrgaziev (10-0) is to face Ireland's Jono Carroll (24-2-1). Carroll has won his last six fights following a loss to Maxi Hughes. The previoulsy announced main event sees two-time world amateur champion and Olympic silver medallist Muslim Gadzhimagomedov (3-0) battle China's Zhaoxin Zhang from China (12-2-1) for the vacant WBA bridgerweight title.
 
ADDITIONAL BOUTS
 
Undercard fights will feature Dmitry Dvali challenging Shakhobidin Zoirov, an Olympic champion from Uzbekistan in an eight-round bantamweight contest. Zoirov is 9-0 including the World Series of Boxing... Five other bouts are to be held in six-round format. Serpukhov-born Artem Ageev (5-0) will get into the ring against Artjom Kasparian (10-0) representing the Netherlands in the light heavyweight division... Serbia’s Vladimir Mironchikov (4-0), also born in Serpukhov, will mix things up against Meysam Gheshlaghi (3-1) from Iran, also at light heavyweight... Artur Subkhankulov (6-0) from Russia challenges Abeid Kessy Kasongo (15-0) from Tanzania at lightweight... Russia's Vasilii Egorov, challenges Jesse Espinas (21-7) from the Philippines at flyweight.
 
The fights are scheduled to take place at a special venue, the IBA Coliseum, built in Serpukhov to host IBA Champions’ Night.
