Kazakhstan's Batirzhan Jukembayev got a significant win in the junior welterweight division, scoring a fifth-round technical knockout win over Ivan Redkach on Wednesday night at the Whitesands Events Center in Plant City, Florida. Jukembayev showed his dominance from the start of the bout and was cruising, with the entire fight in his favor from early on. He landed punches to both the head and to the body to reach his fifth straight win. The 33-year old has not lost since 2021 when he succumbed to Subriel Matias, who is now the IBF champion. Jukembayev’s record now stands at 23 wins, 1 loss and 17 knockouts, while Redkach lowers his record to 24 wins, 7 losses, 1 draw and 19 knockouts.
