Monte Barrett KO2 Cliff Couser... Also in The Bronx, New York, Monte “Two Gunz” Barrett took a rare non-title immediate rematch, and the gamble paid off as he avenged his loss to Cliff Couser. Barrett scored a knockout two minutes into the second round by using the left jab and straight right hand very effectively. Couser tried to answer with wide looping overhand shots, only one of which landed. Barrett was in complete control and at 213 pounds, he weighed the same as he did in his pro debut. A barrage in the second round floored Couser and he could not beat the count. Barrett now has a professional record of 32-6 with 18 knockouts. source: versus network
