Heavyweight contender Monte Barrett dropped by G. Leon's crib in the Bronx to discuss his exciting victory over previously undefeated Owen Beck, the second consecutive undefeated up and comer Barrett proved to be too much for. With impressive wins on HBO and Showtime already under his belt, Barrett is  now looking to land a fight with IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd, who told Boxingtalk weeks ago, that he has no intentions of flying to Germany to face Wladimir Klitschko during his optional defense period. This is some must see footage, Barrett  is his usual talkative self as he tells Byrd, "You want me, you feel I deserve it, I know I deserve it, let's do this on May 14, on the undercard of Trinidad-Wright!"
