Several sources close to the situation have informed Boxingtalk.com that 130 pound king Marco Antonio Barrera will face IBF champ Robbie Peden on September 17. As Boxingtalk.com first reported last week, De La Hoya and Barrera will be sharing an HBO PPV on that date and although De La Hoya's opponent has yet to be solidified, the Barrera-Peden unification is very close to being finalized.
