Press Release: HBO Sports is presenting a thirty-minute special analyzing the upcoming pay-per-view  world welterweight championship fight between champion Carlos Baldomir and  pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather. This intriguing showdown pounds features a largely unknown welterweight  champion whose stock has soared in the past eight months  who is prepared to face the premier  boxer in the world.  The special "Countdown To Baldomir-Mayweather" will feature fighter profiles, expert analysis and forecasts for the pay-per-view showdown in Las Vegas, and will premiere Friday night, Oct. 27 at 12 midnight  ET/PTon HBO.   The next showig will be at 11:15 pm on Saturday, October 28th.  HBO On Demand subscribers can watch the countdown special 24 hours a day from Monday, Oct. 30th thru Monday,  Nov. 13th .  The fight itself will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2006 from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and will be televised by HBO Pay-Per-View at 9:00 p.m. ET/ 6:00 p.m. PT.
