Bailey-Ngoudjo set for IBF eliminator

Press Release: Randall Bailey has put in the long hours in the gym and now, after a two year, seven fight winning streak that includes five knockout victories in a row, Bailey is ready for an IBF elininator that could lead to a title fight in the 140-pound division. Bailey must get through tough Canadian contender Herman “The Black Panther” Ngoudjo (15-1, 9 KOs) Friday night in the IBF elimination bout in Ngoudjo’s adopted hometown of Montreal. “It’s been a hard road back, but I feel great and I’m ready to take out Ngoudjo and get my title shot,” said Bailey, a former WBO and WBA regular belt holder who has put together a 35-5 (32 KOs) record.  “Ngoudjo’s tough and he’s fighting in his backyard, but he’s never faced a puncher like me and once we’re in the ring, it’s just me and him, so I’m gonna show him who’s boss.” Bailey-Ngoudjo will be televised live in the United States on ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights beginning at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
