Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) made its South American debut Saturday at Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay. In the main event, Gaston "Tonga" Reyno stopped Josh "Jarhead" Krejci at 1:29 of the first round to improve to 4-0. Reyno dropped Krejci twice before the referee halted the lightweight bout. "I'm extremely happy," Reyno said in his post-fight interview. "I'm very proud and very happy to be here. This is a dream come true." Krejci fell to 2-3 in BKFC competition.
In the co-feature, former UFC mixed martial artist Guido "Ninja" Cannetti won a unanimous decision over Emiliano "El Toro" Nielli in his BKFC debut. Cannetti scored the bout's only knockdown... Luis "The Machine" Jimenez won a unanimous decision over Javier "Chunty Boy" Torres in a heavyweight bout. Both fighters were making their BKFC debuts.... Marilyn "La Reina" Contin stopped Gisela "Emperetriz" Luna at 1:13 of the first round in a women's bantamweight bout... Nicolas "Guerro" Jara earned a unanimous decision over Ramon "The Rock" Mascarena after scoring nine knockdowns in their featherweight bout... Nicolas "Nitro" Mujica won a unanimous decision over Gonzalo Diaz Arredondo in a featherweight bout... Harel Nicodella stopped Franco Perochena at 48 seconds of the third round in a light heavyweight bout... Jacqueline "Capo" Ayala won a split decision over Giuliana Cosnard in a women's flyweight bout... Nicolas "The Grim Reaper" Acevedo earned a unanimous decision over Victor "Hyena" Borda in a bantamweight bout... Joel "Lobo" Dorado won a unanimous decision over Gonzalo "Monkey" Barrera in a lightweight bout and... In the opening bout, Leandro "The End" Torres stopped Gonzalo Jara at 1:38 of the third round when the ringside physician halted the welterweight contest.
