Williams (29-2, 16 KOs) has defeated the likes of Tony Menefee (76-16-1), Anthony Stephens (32-15-2), Aaron Norwood (21-4-2), Anton Robinson (26-8-1), Richard Grant (19-12-1), Floyd Williams (30-12-1) and Max Heyman (21-8-4). Echols (31-6-2, 27 KOs), nicknamed "Kid Dynamite" has beaten former world titlist Charles Brewer (36-7), Ross Thompson (26-8-2), Kabary Salem (16-1) and Brian Barbosa (23-3). Echols has also fought the great Bernard Hopkins twice for the IBF middleweight crown, extending him twelve rounds in their first meeting. "I'm not going to let Kid Dynamite detonate," Williams promised. "I'm going to pick him apart; he ain't going off. Echols is a strong, aggressive fighter who always comes to fight.
