Arum and King to host presser in Atlantic City on Saturday!

The two most successful promoters in the history of sports – BOB ARUM and DON KING – will host a once-in-a-lifetime joint media forum This Saturday! March 18, in the Marlboro Room, at Bally’s Atlantic City. It will begin promptly at 2 P.M.  With over 70 years of promoting experience between them, these two Hall of Fame members will discuss and answer questions about the different paths they took to achieve their extraordinary success, the competition between them and the experience of co-promoting three of the biggest boxing events of their eras – Ali-Frazier III, Leonard-Duran I, and De La Hoya-Trinidad.

 

Arum and King, in association with Caesars Palace and Wynn Las Vegas, are promoting “Sworn Enemies!” – the 12-round welterweight championship fight between three-time world champions Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Zab Judah – marking the first time since 1999’s De La Hoya-Trinidad historic title unification fight Arum and King have co-promoted an event.  HBO Pay-Per-View will televise Mayweather vs. Judah live from the Thomas & Mack Center, Saturday, April 8.              

 

The Mayweather vs. Judah pay-per-view telecast, beginning at 9 p.m. EDT/6 p.m. PDT on April 8, has a suggested retail price of $44.95, will be distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View and will be available to more than 56 million pay-per-view homes.
