Arce does it again!

Mexican warrior Jorge Arce won the WBC interim flyweight belt with a third-round knockout of Angel Priolo on Saturday in his home country. According to Notimex, the 26-year old Arce (40-3-1) dropped Priolo (30-3) twice before referee Toby Gibson called an end to the one-sided affair. Next up for Arce is a rematch against Hussein Hussein in October. Arce defeated Hussein in an eliminator bout four months ago in Las Vegas.  Hopefully, boxing fans will eventually be able to see Arce, a longtime 108-pound champion who gave up his title without a loss due to weight issues, in the ring against Pongsaklek Wongjongkam, who holds the WBC title. The winner of that fight would deserve a spot on pound-for-pound lists. The Colombian Priolo lost his second straight fight since winning 17 straight- the previous loss was to Brian Viloria.-- Scott Shaffer
