Ann Wolfe social media posting on the announcement that she has been slected for the International Boxing Hall of Fame: Finally, I’ll be getting a Boxing Hall of Fame ring! In June of 2021 I will be inducted into International Boxing Hall of Fame!!! I was homeless, both mom and dad had passed  away, I had no one to turn to! That is when I turned to boxing, the only reason was to make money! I couldn’t read or write off paper! I couldn’t even fill out an application! No food stamps, no welfare, no handouts! I didn’t have sh*t, but the love for my children! I knew how to fight,  I knew how to work and I had heart, I’m ALL women, but I had a set of balls, like a mean old Brahman bull and I was strong as an ox! If your old-school, or from the streets or the hood, you know Exactly what I’m talking  about! I wasn’t afraid of anything or anyone on planet earth! My motto was, everybody wanna go to heaven but don’t nobody want to die! I found out quick  enough you don’t just start making money when you stat boxing! So I work construction all day and part of the night and boxed the rest of the night into the Early mornings! My poor kids spent most of there childhood in a gym on a back rd or watching their momma get the hell beat out of her by grown ass men! I would tell them it’s going to make me tougher,so when I fight women it will be easier! They stayed right by my side! They all way Tell me it was worth it and that they are proud of me! That’s all I really need it but this rain will put the icing on the cake!   BECAUSE!!!  I had Determination, I was willing to sacrifice,and suffer I had to learn that fighting and boxing where two totally different things, but until I learned how to box,  I was fighting my ass off ...  knocking out women who knew how to box , women who had 3 and 4 times the fights I had! FYI I didn’t truly learn how to box, until I became a trainer! But being tough, having heart, and the Desire to feed my Children and give them a safe warm place to lay there head, is what motivated me from that day to this one! I was willing fight to the death for a better life for my children and myself! I Started from the bottom, now I’m here! I thank God for his many blessings!!!"
