Ángel Ayala TKO1 Miguel Ángel Herrera ... On Saturday, in the Azteca 7 studios in Mexico City, flyweight Ángel "Chameleon" Ayala (15-0, 7 KOs) made quick work of the usually resistant Miguel Ángel "Joyita" Herrera (22-5-5, 8 KOs), whom he liquidated in the first round. The fight only lasted 79 seconds. Herrera tried to take refuge against the ropes, but could not stop the aggressiveness of the "Chameleon." Two power blows to the face staggered "Joyita" and opened a cut on his left eyelid, and the referee immediately stopped the actions. It was the first knockout of Herrera's career.

Mexico City's Bernardo “Baby Face” Ruiz (6-1, 3 KOs) defeated Jonathan “Chanito” Torres (6-4-1, 1 KO) fby technical knockout in the fourth round, in a competitive fight and in which both young men had good moments. Ruiz was aggressive and landed the best punches, while Torres boxed and counter punched, and in the fourth round, a Ruiz combination hurt Torres, who was on the ropes. With Torres offering no return shots, the referee stopped the fight.

 

Mexican heavyweight Ubaldo "Baldo" Iligor (9-0, 8 KOs) extended his undefeated record, beating the experienced Ramón Olivas (17-20, 11 KOs) by technical knockout in the second round.
