Andy Lee to open Duddy PPV show

Press Release: Unbeaten middleweight "Irish" Andy Lee will fight dangerous Cleiton "Soul Man" Conceicao in the opening "Erin Go Brawl" pay-per-view bout on March 16, 2007 (St. Patrick's Day Eve). The main event will feature "Ireland's" John Duddy against Anthony "The Bullet" Bonsante, in The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 2004 Irish Olympian Lee (7-0, 4 KOs), now fighting out of Detroit (by way of Limerick, Ireland), where his manager/trainer Emanuel Steward is based, has been at training camp in Spain with IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, cruiserweight Jonathan Banks, heavyweight title contender Monte Barrett and Israel Garcia. The 22-year-old Lee is a southpaw who stands 6-2. Conceicao (10-2-2, 8 KOs), 2000 Brazilian Olympian, is coming off of a 10-round draw against 2000 U.S. Olympian Dante Craig last August. Also on the show, Giovanni Lorenzo fights veteran Robert "The Doctor" Kamya in the 10-round co-feature. Lorenzo (22-0, 14 KOs), the 2000 Dominican Olympian, lives in Washington Heights (in New York City). Ugandan-native Kamya (15-6, 4 KOs), now fighting out of Palm Beach (FL), is trained by former world champion Johnny Bumphus.
