PRESS RELEASE: Andre Ward was honored last weekend at the 2005 Victor Awards for his gold medal performance at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Ward, 4-0 as a professional middleweight, received his award on Saturday in Las Vegas, along with elite athletes and coaches from fifteen sports. The awards broadcast will premiere on Fox Sports Net  on July 23, 2005, and will run at various times through the rest of the month.  Check local listings for the times and days of each airing. The Victor Awards are presented to the most outstanding athletes and coaches as nominated by the board of directors of the City of Hope, which benefits the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles. Andre Ward will be back in the ring on August 18 featured on FSN's Best Damn Sports Show Period.
