In California, undefeated Andre Berto retained his WBC welterweight belt with a unanimous decision over Steve Forbes, a former 130-pound titlist and later a reality show contestant. Berto's power, hand speed and top notch conditioning led to a 118-109 (twice) and 116-111 verdict. Berto is now 23-0 and has slowly but steadil been increasing his level of competition. The only question left for the 5'8" welterweight to answer is how he would fare against a six-foot tall opponent.
