GL: Congrats on your win the other night, can you give us some thoughts on your performance? "I want to thank God for the victory, I'm going to keep moving forward. There's a few things that we're going to work on, but I got the win and I can't complain."
GL: When can we expect to see back in the ring?
Yukence Andino: "I'm hoping to get back in there on February 22 on the undercard of Baby Face Garcia's next fight. I'm not sure where it's going to be happening, but I've been hearing New York."
GL: Were you disappointed your fight went the distance?
YA: "I wasn't disappointed at all. I know going these rounds know will help me more in the future. I listened to my corner, they told me to box him. He was a big strong Mexican and I'm glad the fans got to see more of me because it wasn't a boring fight."
GL: You've been doing a lot of talking about Andre Berto, do you plan on coming to his next fight in New York City on February 17?
YA: "Nah, I'm not going to be able to make it because I'll be in camp. I'll watch him. I don't have to watch because I know how he fights, but I'll be watching and rooting him on and I hope he keeps winning because I know I am, I just hope they let me get my chance to handle my business."
GL: Is there anyone you'd like to fight between now and Berto?
YA: "Demetrius Hopkins, anybody man. The opponent doesn't matter to me anybody in my weight class is fine with me. I want to be known as the best prospect in boxing so I'm ready to fight anybody. I want Berto because he seems like the guy they're trying to build up and I want to be the guy to show the world he isn't what they think he is."
GL: Is there anything you'd like to say in closing?
YA: "I want to thank Boxingtalk for the interview and thank my management and promoter and hopefully next time I'm on TV I put on an even better performance. All I can do is continue to win and that's what I'm going to do."
