Amir Khan turns pro spectacularly

Teenage Amir Khan, who captured Britain's collective heart in the 2004 Olympics, made his pro debut in spectacular fashion, defeating David Bailey in little more than a minute and a half.  Khan floored Weaver twice and battered him for a few more seconds when the referee failed to notice the towel flyingin from Bailey's corner. Khan weighed 138 pounds for this bout, meaning he is likely to campaign at lightweight or junior welter.  Bailey is now 3-5 but this was the first time he failed to answer the final bell. source: BBC
